About Me
I am currently a senior at Independence High School. I play soccer for the school and am the Vice President of the National Honor Society chapter. This is my second year in the ISM program and I am beyond excited to experience the journey again. My first year equipped me with knowledge that I believe will allow me to achieve much higher feats this year.
Last year in ISM I studied mobile app programming to learn about mobile apps can change the world. But this year I wanted to think bigger and so I decided to study product engineering. This allows me to make an impact beyond the horizons of just mobile apps.
After this year, I hope to study mechanical engineering at the University of California at Berkeley and graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master in Business and Administration. After college, I hope to change lives as a product engineer in the technology industry.
Mission Statement
Through the Independent Study & Mentorship Program, I hope to refine my professional skills and develop a stronger understanding of the facets of product engineering. As I continue to enhance my knowledge regarding product engineering in the technology industry over the course of this year and undergraduate education, I hope to eventually leave an impact on the technology industry with the inception of a revolutionary personal device.
