Well, it finally happened. Two years of hard work, two years of invaluable experience, and two years of occasional stress. ISM has been one of the most enriching experiences in high school. It provided an experience that I knew I would not find anywhere else and despite all of the trials and tribulations, I do not regret any of it. It was never easy. In fact, I remember more difficulty than anything. I remember all of the hard parts and do not remember any point in which anything was spoonfed or just handed to me. But that is what makes ISM so great. Through all of the trials and tribulations, I built character. I understood that in the professional world, by no means does everything go your way, nothing is handed to you, no one is there to serve you, everything is earned. When I look back, I know that I never truly achieved everything that I wanted to. I never created my own app, I never created my own product, but what I did create were connections and an improved mentality. I am now better equipped for the difficulty of the real world. I cannot believe it's finally over, and I'd like to thank everyone, all of the professionals I met along the way, all of the other students, and foremost, my teacher Mrs. Brittain. With that being said, I will take every lesson learned to better myself as a student, and more importantly a man every day.
