Let me clear that up, I do not have the fear of public speaking but I am fearful of not living up to my last presentation. My previous presentation went extremely well. I believe that it may be the best presentation that I have ever delivered. Everything flowed extremely well, it made logical sense, the opening and closing was executed perfectly, I quite frankly could not have asked it to go much better. That is why I have this fear keep racking me that I may not live up to my previous presentation. However, I do find solace in the fact that often the sequel is worse than the original. The sequel to The Avengers was not as good, the sequel to Unbreakable was not as good, and the sequel to The Force Awakens was not as good. Often times it is hard to create a sequel and live up the greatness and the effectiveness of the original. I cannot exactly replicate the speech because well then it's unoriginal and I cannot use the same formula because then it just feels repetitive. Coming up with an original way to meet the caliber of the original and have the same effect that it did, is probably one of the most difficult things to do. However, that does not mean that independent of the other speech, my speech will be bad. I believe that I should stop trying to compare my upcoming speech to the past ones and just focus on making this one good. I should only be thinking about the present.
