The primary highlight of this past week was the Business Symposium. Personally, I think it was better than last year for many reasons. First off, I believe that I was much more prepared than last year. Last year, I had a lot of nerves and was not completely in my element. This year was much more relaxed primarily because I had experience with interactions and the Business Symposium. Additionally, I felt a lot less flustered than last year. Last year, everything was happening so fast and it was also new that it caught me off guard and it left me a bit flustered but it was a lot better this year. One of the best parts of the business symposium this year was the networking room. I think that the members of ISM this year were a lot more outgoing than last year so the networking room became truly beneficial fulfilled its maximum potential. One of the biggest challenges that I kind of faced was interviewing people. I did not find it to be particularly hard or anything but I just wish that I was a little bit more prepared in terms of extra questions because if I was asking the same questions as everyone else, it would not really be helping the ISM I students as much. In terms of upcoming events, as of now I have my first interview this Friday and next week I have an original work proposal so my mind is really starting to shift towards the more core aspects of ISM.
