Half way of the Half way

This past week marked the end of the first nine weeks in ISM. This officially means that I am one fourth through not only ISM but also my senior year. While this is definitely exciting, I am starting to feel the exhaustion that was pent up over the course of three years of high school. One particular challenge this past week that I faced was time management. I do not feel that time management is a weakness of mine. In fact, I have suggested that it is actually a strength. However, lately, with the combination of a lot of AP classes and college applications, coupled with the workload of ISM, I just feel like I have so much to do and not enough time. Especially these last two months of the year I have the applications for my most desired schools due so I need to devote a significant amount of attention to the applications but I also need to make sure that the quality of original work does not suffer. I think one of the things that I will do to fix this challenge is get a planner. Personally, I am not the person to have a planner because I can generally keep track of everything in my head, but with the sheer burden of the tasks I have to complete, I think that I need a planner to emulate the success of years past. Looking forward, I need to get my digital and physical portfolios updated this week and not much more. This is helpful in that I can get my application for UT in and no ISM work means that I can devote more time to it. In terms of questions/concerns that I still have might just be planning strategies for the future and rest of the year. This first semester is quite rough given everything that is going on so I think that I will reach out to get some logistical help. With that being said, I look forward to making improvements in my schedule management so that I can be as successful as I was last year.
