The Gift of Knowledge

This past week in ISM I have been primarily working on my research speech. I have learned a lot in ISM so far about the mobile app industry and its facets and so I am excited to share this information with people who albeit do not share the same interest but they do understand what it means to be passionate about a topic. I already have a speech outline created but I do not think that I will try and adhere to it during my presentation. All I think that memorizing the speech will do is set me up for failure. This is because I will try and just stick to the speech and then I will stumble during the speech if I cannot memorize it. Therefore, I have opted to use the speech outline not as a transcript of my speech but more of an actual outline. This will help me keep everything sorted in my head and give me a sense of organization and direction. My speech is next Wednesday so I look forward to giving the presentation and then from there I can go ahead and look at the feedback and determine how to improve my presentational skills.
